SUSD Foundation Receives Donation from Wells Fargo

On September 8th, 2011, on behalf of Wells Fargo, Ruthann Couch and Tom Quinsler presented a check for $1,000 to the SUSD Foundation. Since coming to Arizona in 1858, Wells Fargo has embraced education and financial literacy as core company values. Ms. couch shared, "The strength of any community is largely based upon its economic stability and this economic viability is driven, to a significant extent, by the education level of its citizens. Education is the cornerstone of our Wells Fargo corporate giving, representing approximately 30 percent of our total community investment budget for Arizona. Today, Wells Fargo team members continue to play a vital role in supporting education. Throughout the company, thousands of team members volunteer at local schools.  We're proud to support the great work of the SUSD Foundation."

"We are honored to be partnering with Wells Fargo to make a positive difference in our community. We appreciate their contributions to our efforts at the SUSD Foundation", stated Chairman Mary Manross.
