SUSD Foundation Awards $50,162 in Mini-Grants to TeachersScottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its annual mini-grants. This year, the SUSD Foundation will award $50,162 in mini-grants to 39 grant applications.
"The SUSD Foundation is extremely pleased to provide funding for the Mini-Grant Program. The objectives of the program are to support the Foundation's and the District's goal of increasing student learning by providing these annual grants which foster academic development and inspire teachers/administrators to experiment with tools and techniques that go beyond the conventional textbooks and District funding provisions,” said Foundation Chairman Mary Manross. Since coming to Arizona in 1858, Wells Fargo has embraced education and financial literacy as core company values. Ms. couch shared, "The strength of any community is largely based upon its economic stability and this economic viability is driven, to a significant extent, by the education level of its citizens. Education is the cornerstone of our Wells Fargo corporate giving, representing approximately 30 percent of our total community investment budget for Arizona. Today, Wells Fargo team members continue to play a vital role in supporting education. Throughout the company, thousands of team members volunteer at local schools.
